The Paper Demon & Other Stories was released in 2021 by New Rivers Press

soon after which, alas, this storied press (founded in 1968 by C.W. “Bill” Truesdale) fell victim to budget cuts at Minnesota State University Moorhead, its adopted home. Although some of us have been told the university is seeking to sell the press, as of this writing (September, 2024) New Rivers appears not to exist in any way, shape, or form. The Paper Demon is, however, still available as an e-book. Rest in peace, New Rivers.
