What I’m Reading
September, 2024
On a trip of a lifetime to Italy, I became obsessed with all things Italian, including novelists. My current favorites are “Happiness as Such” and “Family Lexicon,” both by the amazing Natalia Ginzburg. The first, an epistolary novel, is strange, hilarious, and heart wrenching. The second, which some have called her masterpiece, is a rough and sweet, unflinching, unforgettable family sage based on her own life.
